Iphoto is an Internet picture downloader. It gives you the ability to download and save all the pictures from an Internet page. It will recognize all the major formats such as JPG, GIF.
Like other software, this one is not able to download every picture from the page. Pictures that need to be maximized for a better view, will be saved only as thumbnails, despite the fact that the application has a command for downloading large pictures.
You will get a good result only when you download from simple webpages. From modern webpages you will get only some thumbnails and banners. Anyway, the speed of download is really fast because Iphoto uses 8 threads for simultaneous downloads.
Being a typical Win95 machine, the application has an annoying active button, which can be used to return to it, while you are on another application window.
Pluses: fast; the search and download functions can be made from inside the program.
Drawbacks / flaws: cannot download pictures that must be maximized; that annoying button;
In conclusion: If you need banners, this is a good way to collect them.
