WSQ Viewer is a image processing utility which allows you to view and convert all types of bitmap images: WSQ, BMP, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, PNG, RGB, TGA, GIF, CEL, PSD, IFF, PCX. This is the demo version of WSQ (FBI's Wavelet Scalar Quantization) library add-on available as SDK for software developers. Using WSQ Viewer, you can view and convert between WSQ and other graphic file formats. The WSQ file format or Wavelet Scalar Quantization is used by Most American law enforcement agencies; it is a wavelet-based system for efficient storage of compressed fingerprint images at 500 pixels per inch (ppi). WSQ was developed by the FBI, the Los Alamos National Lab, and the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST).
