Free, fast and compact, these are the three words that represent ABsee. ABsee Viewer is like an explorer for pictures. It supports a lot of image formats, such as bmp,jpg,png,gif,tif,pcx,ico, cur, wmf, jp2, crwand dwg etc.
On the left side you got the tree folder (like in Windows Explorer) and on the right the contents. At first the images will be viewed in thumbnails and by clicking one of them you can see a detailed view on the left bottom of the application.
If you wish to do some changes to the pictures, you can edit directly with the AB see Editor. Although it's not something fancy it works alright, and includes major settings like in Windows Paint.
Pluses: easy to use; fast; free
Drawbacks / flaws: it has no viewer integrated;
In conclusion: This is more an image explorer, rather than a viewer, because it uses for full-screen and slideshows any third party installed viewer.
