Raxxla Bugs is an arcade game with some Lemmings flavour. Who doesn't know Lemmings? You don't know? Well for you then, this is a new game, but for all who already played in their childhood Lemmings this is another clone of it.
It's not a bad game, it's just that it uses the old Lemmings idea: "Where more workers are, the more the power grows". A flying saucer will generate some bugs which have to collect mushrooms and some kind of snails. Unfortunately these bugs are simple robots and you have to control them with every move. You have to show them the direction they should move (otherwise they will take the wrong direction and they will fall), and prepare them to make different tasks from drilling to building bridges, etc.
The fun of this game comes while progressing through the levels. Each level will bring a more difficult task, so be prepared to become faster and faster in taking the decisions.
Pluses: better graphics than Lemmings
Drawbacks / flaws: same idea like Lemmings
In conclusion: 15 years separates Lemmings from The Raxxla Bugs, and still the gameplay is a true inspiration for new games.
