Connect your iPod and drop a text document onto the iPodDoc icon. The file is split into chunks then copied to your iPod as linked notes. The notes are stored in sub-folders within a common folder. The notes and are grouped by tens, so you can read the contents of a sub folder, then press Menu no more than ten times to select the next sub-folder.
For best results, make sure your document is plain-text, with returns at the end of paragraphs only.
